How does a domain backorder work?
A backorder monitors a domain name that someone else currently holds. If the owner lets it lapse, the backorder attempts to register it for you the moment it becomes available. It's the practical way to pursue a name you want without checking it manually every day. Solution Squad manages the whole process from Auckland.

Is a backorder guaranteed to get me the domain?
No service can guarantee a backorder, because the current holder may simply renew the name and keep it. What a backorder does is give you a standing attempt: the instant the domain is released, the system tries to secure it for you. If the name matters to your business, placing the backorder early is the sensible move.
