Can you arrange business fibre for us?

Yes — we arrange business fibre end to end. We assess how your team uses the internet, recommend a fibre plan that fits, and manage the order, installation and router setup. As a One NZ Partner we can also add wireless broadband as a backup connection, so an outage on the fibre line does not take your business offline.

Our Wi-Fi is slow or keeps dropping. Can you fix it?

Usually, yes — and quickly. Most business Wi-Fi problems come down to poor access point placement, interference or consumer-grade gear doing a business-grade job. We survey your site, redesign the wireless network around your floor plan and headcount, and install access points suited to your space. The result is Wi-Fi with no dead zones and guest access kept separate from company data.

Do we really need a business firewall, or is the router from our internet provider enough?

A standard ISP router offers basic protection, but a business firewall is built to defend a business network. It filters threats, controls what traffic gets in and out, keeps guest and company traffic separate and supports secure remote access. For most New Zealand businesses a properly configured firewall is one of the cheapest pieces of security insurance available.

Can our staff work securely from home?

Yes. We set up VPNs and secure remote access so your staff can reach files, applications and internal systems from home or on the road without exposing those systems to the open internet. Remote access is configured to work alongside your existing security tools, and we monitor the connections we manage so problems are caught early.

Do you monitor networks around the clock?

The networks we manage are monitored proactively, so we spot performance issues and outages early — often before you notice them. Managed clients get 24/7 support, and our Auckland office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, for everything else. You can reach the team on 0800 900 777.

Do you come on-site, or is everything remote?

Both. Solution Squad has offices in East Tāmaki and Hamilton, and works on-site across Auckland and the Waikato for installs, structured cabling, Wi-Fi surveys and office fit-outs. Day-to-day monitoring and most fixes happen remotely, which keeps response times fast and keeps your costs down. Either way, the same local team looks after your network from start to finish.

We're moving offices. When should we involve you?

As early as possible — ideally before you sign the lease. Fibre availability, structured cabling and Wi-Fi coverage are far cheaper to get right during the fit-out than to fix afterwards. We plan the new network alongside your move, arrange the fibre connection ahead of time and test everything so your team is online from day one.
